Katy Perry Joins Special Guest Lineup for Celebrate LA!

Global superstar Katy Perry will join the lineup of special guest artists for Celebrate LA!: LA Phil 100 at the Bowl, a free concert at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, at 7 p.m.

Perry will join Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonicto perform a short set of top hits from her illustrious career. Previously announced special guests include Herbie Hancock, Kali Uchis, and YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles).

Tickets for LA Phil 100 at the Bowl will be available via online sweepstakes at laphil.com/celebratela. Online sweepstakes registration begins on Aug. 20 and closes on Sept. 2. The selection process is randomized, and the order of entry has no effect on the chances of winning. Entry limited to adults 18 and older. Void where prohibited. Other limitations may apply. Successful applicants will be notified via email in early September with details of how to claim their tickets, and within what time frame. Tickets not claimed during the allotted time frame will be forfeited. Tickets are completely free and not subject to any fees. Each winner will be limited to two tickets (per household). Tickets can only be utilized by the winner and not resold, forwarded, exchanged, or transferred. Standard parking, Park and Ride, and shuttle prices will be in effect for this concert.

The concert LA Phil 100 at the Bowl is the culminating event of a daylong celebration called Celebrate LA: LA Phil 100 x CicLAvia, a massive, free, eight-mile street festival connecting Walt Disney Concert Hall with the Hollywood Bowl, presented in partnership with CicLAvia and Community Arts Resources (CARS).

LA Phil 100 x CicLAvia begins at 9 a.m. and features approximately 1800 performers — musicians, dancers, and visual artists, the vast majority of whom are from L.A. — with live shows and dancing programmed on six major hub stages, as well as art installations, food trucks, screen printing, and kid-friendly activities intersecting throughout. The entire eight-mile route will be transformed into an auto-free zone, where all are welcome to walk, run, skate, scoot, bike, and wander. It has no starting or ending point, and participants can join in anywhere they like, using any form of non-motorized transportation. All ages are encouraged to attend.
