I was lucky enough to have worked with Alf and “The Simpsons” TV show orchestra for 12 years!

Alf was a magnificent composer and held wonderful AFM sessions. First and foremost he took care of business. He absolutely knew what musical result he wanted from his players and his crew accomplished that!

Alf also knew how to have fun and was extremely witty. There were running jokes about the BBQ that was going to happen after each session at Gary Grant’s (RIP) home and who was going to bring what food dishes. The BBQ never happened but it was a fun dialogue every week.

Alf’s wonderful wife Sally would bring delicious homemade cookies to the sessions.

It was a family affair working for Alf. I feel so blessed to have been a part of his beautiful music and life!
