‘Yo, Cip’ – Gene Cipriano documentary film

Yo Cip is a feature film dedicated to telling the story of one of the longest working session musician around today. This is a tale of an amazing yet unsung career in session music from Sinatra to the Academy Awards.

After spending many years with Cip on sessions and as a friend, I became inspired to preserve his stories and life experience. A few years back I started investing my own money to film and interview Cip as well as others others connected to him. From that footage we created a trailer and fundraising video in the hopes of raising money to produce a film.

We estimate the cost of an actual feature at $125k and have started an Indiegogo campaign to raise the funds in the music community. I’m humbly requesting your support by making a contribution to help us get to that number.

Please contribute to this awesome project if you can, and if you don’t have the finances, please share!!

Thank you,
